Terry Oldfield toca la flauta desde principios de los años setenta, colaborando con su hermano pequeño Mike en Hergest Ridge, Ommadawn e Incantations. Con el paso de los años se ha convertido en un compositor de prestigio dentro de la música para documentales emitidos en televisión y cuenta con varias nominaciones de los Premios Emmy. También ha publicado bajo el sello New World Music un puñado de álbumes como Reverence o Icon. Desde hace varios años parece que publica sus trabajos con MG Music. Una gran parte de su labor ha consistido en hacer bandas sonoras para televisión, algunas de las cuales han recibido distinciones y nominaciones, entre ellas de los Premios Emmy. También ha grabado bastantes álbumes.

"My name is Terry Oldfield.

I have been making music for over 35 years now. I began playing the flute in Greece in 1970. The call of the ocean and the nature of the land there inspired me greatly. I spent seven years honing my craft.

During this time I also traveled extensively throughout India. The mystical magic of India with its colors and music has always been a strong influence on my career and the music.

Together with my partner Soraya, I am entering a new and exciting phase of my life. We will be running regular concerts and workshops worldwide over the next few years to connect more directly with you.
